Project Re-start - women 2.0

Friday, October 31st, 2014

logo-restart

Re-start – women 2.0 is a project born from the collaboration between five European associations (Frauencomputerschule, Associazione Intramoenia-seeds for change, Multicultureel Vrouwencentrum Jasmijn, Ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih Dante e Widows orphans international) that share the same interest toward women in the working environment.

The project offers an online platform that will allow women to access various formative contents, such as English, information technology and management courses.

The purpose is to enable all women to update themselves and learn new techniques, that may be useful on the job, from home and for free, introducing the opportunity of handling time autonomously depending on their domestic and professional responsibilities.

The online platform “Re-start – women 2.0” will contain various forms and will offer a large formative overview: through the “Intercultural Competences” form, for example, women will have the instruments to use the lesson learned during the basic courses in a wider environment; the “Services” form will give information and support for every problem that women may go through in their family life; moreover, the “Wiki-Fem-Professional” form will be specifically aimed at women re-entering the job market and working women and will ease the interactions between users and the working environment.

Re-start – women 2.0 is funded by European Program Erasmus Plus Vocational training; the five associations will work together until August 2016 in order to improve and disseminate the project, constantly monitoring its development.
